The finish line in Whitehorse is a great spot for teams to cheer on their last runner and meet other teams to share their stories of the race.

REQUIREMENT: Listed below each position

LOCATION: Rotary Park, Whitehorse

TIME: Set up starts at 8am and the finish line operates from 11am to 5:30pm

Finish Line Manager

• Pick up finish line equipment from Sport Yukon on Thursday or Friday

• Assign volunteer roles

• Manage set up and tear down of the finish line

Timing Assistant

• Ensure all participants dip their timing stick to receive a time

Requirement: 2

Announcers

• Announces which participant is going to arrive at the finish next so spectators can cheer

• Announces as the participant crosses the finish line

Requirement: 2

Announcing Assistant

• Enter bib numbers into the announcing system

• Pass information to the announcers

• Radios in bib numbers from 0.5 km and 1 km out from the finish
