Party in the Park Manager

•  The manager will help with the organiztion of the party

• Manage the set up of the party on the Friday and Saturday

• Be the point person for issues that arise during the event

• Manage the tear down

Set Up and Tear Down

• There are a number of tents and other fixtures to be set up on the Saturday morning before the party. We need a number of people willing to help us set up tents, flags, tables and more.

• We also need people to help us take down tents and load everything into the truck to go back to Sport Yukon

Requirement: 12 - many hands make light work

Beer Garden

• Every year we get a sports group or group of friends to run the beer garden.

• This involves setting up the beer garden - tables, fence line and serving area.

• Taking cash and serving beer

• Emptying recycling bins

Requirements: 20 - volunteers can coordinate shifts

 

Merchandise Tent

• Operate the merchandise tent

• Hand out orders purchased online before the event 

• Sell merchandise (includes assisting with sale and taking payment in cash or on card

Requirements: 12 - volunteers can coordinate shifts

Party Volunteer

• Various roles as needed within the park during the event including but not limited to

  • Assisting in kids zone

  • Assisting with photo booth

  • Assisting with relax zone

  • Emptying garbage

  • Moving equipment

First Aid

• First Aid for the relay is donated by the Yukon Ski Patrol

• If you are interested in being a first aider for the relay please contact Ski Patrol
